Unless a more specific storage period has been specified in this data protection information, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for erasure or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be erased unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, your data will be erased once these reasons no longer apply.

You can reach our privacy officer at datenschutz@holisticon.de

2. General notes and mandatory information

a) Downloading and installing the app

Before you can install this app, you may have to conclude a user agreement with an app store operator (e.g. Google, Apple) for access to their portal (e.g. Google Play, App Store). The app store operator collects and processes data such as user name, email address and individual device identification number in connection with the use of the app store as the controller. We are not party to the user agreement with the app store operator and have no influence on its data processing. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective app store operator applies.

Please note the privacy policies of the stores when using them:

b) SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the app operator, this app uses SSL or TLS encryption. This encryption prevents the data you transmit from being read by unauthorized third parties.

3. Access rights of the app

In order to provide our services via the app, we require the access rights listed below, which enable us to access certain functions of your device.

  • Location data
  • Photo and audio data

Access to the device functions is necessary to ensure the functionality of the app. The legal basis for this data processing is our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, your consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TTDSG and - if a contract has been concluded - the fulfillment of our contractual obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

The photos are not saved. After using the feature, they are deleted immediately.

4. Data collection within the app

The app can be used without identifying the user. When you use the app, we collect the following personal data from you:

  • the number of installations and uninstallations
  • the location of the user
  • the rating of the app by the user
  • the operating system of the user
  • the usage behavior within the app

This data is logged, accumulated and anonymized by third-party providers such as Apple and Google. It is no longer possible to assign the accumulated data to a person. We use this data exclusively for statistical evaluations in order to further improve our app in the future.

The processing of this personal data is necessary to ensure the functionality of the app. The legal basis for this data processing is our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, your consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG and - if a contract (e.g. for registration for a workshop) has been concluded - the fulfillment of our contractual obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

This app uses the technology of Google Firebase (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, "Google"), an analysis service of Google Inc. to analyze user behavior.

The information generated about the use (app version, type and version of the device used, version of the operating system, the requested page, date and time of use, as well as the IP address used during use) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

For the relevant data transfers to the USA, Google has actively registered with the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA), U.S. Department of Commerce and has submitted to the E.U.-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Google is actively certified there; next certification due date is 13.09.2024

Furthermore, information about certain actions is collected by the Firebase SDK during use of the app. Actions such as installing and starting the app, app updates, uninstalling, updating the operating system, deleting app data, app crashes and in-app purchases as well as receiving, swiping away and opening push notifications and opening and updating the app via a dynamic link trigger the event-driven data collection of the Firebase SDK. To identify devices, the Firebase SDK uses an instantiated app identifier, e.g. via the advertising ID.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the app, to compile reports on activities and to provide other services related to the use of the app. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

The legal basis for the use and evaluation of the data and use of Firebase is a legitimate interest (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our apps) within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). You can object to the use of Firebase at any time by adjusting the slider for anonymous statistics in the app under "Settings".

You can restrict the use of the advertising ID in the device settings (iOS: Privacy/ Advertising/ No Ad Tracking; Android: Account/ Google/ Ads). Google Analytics for Firebase (Google Inc.). We also use Firebase Remote Config, which allows us to perform A/B tests and adjust the behavior and appearance of the app without having to download a new version. Personal data is not stored.

You can find out which subcontractors Google uses at the following link: https://firebase.google.com/terms/subprocessors.

You can find more information about Google Firebase and data protection here: https://firebase.google.com/terms/data-processing-terms; https://firebase.google.com/terms/; https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy/.

Collection of location data

Users can use the location function on their smartphone to determine their location for selected functions. For example, we can automatically provide you with up-to-date information about Rammstein in your area when you use the app. The Rammstein app can determine your location if you have agreed to this in the settings of your operating system. After installing the app, you can activate and deactivate this sharing at any time.
